MB-45, MB-45D - Window and door system without thermal insulation

The MB-45 is a modern aluminum system, designed for the purpose of providing indoor  and outdoor architectural elements that do not require thermal insulation such as: various types of partition walls, windows and doors, including manual and automatic sliding doors, revolving doors, vestibules, sites, cash boxes, display cases, spatial constructions.

The structural depth of the window sections is 45 mm (door frame), 54 mm (sash), and doors 45 mm and 45 mm respectively. Such assumed depths of sash shapes and frame sections give the effect of a single surface from the outside after closing - in the case of windows and the effect of faced surfaces of the leaf and the frame - in the case of doors. The shape of the profiles allows for slim and robust window and door constructions.

An important feature of the MB-45 system is the ability to bend profiles, among others, doors, sashes and bundles, which make it possible to make different types of arches and bent constructions.

Tightness is ensured by the use of special EPDM synthetic rubber gaskets, which guarantee ageing resistance during long-term use.

The characteristic feature of the system is its close connection with MB-60 and MB-70 window and door systems. The versatility and attractiveness of the system additionally enhances the choice between a number of variants for different design details such as lower door leaf seals, sliding and swing door seals, glazing strip shapes, door sill shape and height.
 

The system allows the use of glass pane sets of thicknesses ranging from 2 mm to 35 mm in window sashes and from 2 mm to 26 mm in fixed windows and door leaves.
The MB-45 system is also the basis for special solutions: MB-45D (Class S30) smoke-proof doors and separators as well as so called MB-45S groove-fitted doors.
