MB-60 - Window and door system with thermal insulation

The MB-60 solution is a modern aluminum system which is used to provide thermal and acoustic insulation of architectural elements of external elements, eg: various types of windows, doors, vestibules, sites, spatial constructions.

System profiles have a triangular structure. The structural depth of the window sections is 60 mm (door frame), 69 mm (sash) and doors respectively 60 mm and 60 mm. Such assumed depths of the sash and frame sections give the effect of one plane from the outside after closing - in the case of the window and the effect of the faced surfaces of the sashes and the frame - in the case of the door. The shape of profiles allows for slim and durable window and door constructions.

There is a possibility of bending profiles, among others doors, sashes and bundles, which makes it possible to make different types of arches and bent structures.

The MB-60 system is characterized by a low U-value due to the use of thermal separators and gaskets. For MB-60 system profiles the heat transfer coefficient Uf is: for windows: from 2.0 W / m2K, for doors: from 2.30 W / m2K. The system uses profiled thermal omega shaped spacers with the width of 24 (window) and 14 (door) mm made of fiberglass reinforced polyamide. The shape of the inserts increases the stiffness of the profile with respect to the flat inserts and facilitates dehydration of the sections thereby ensuring proper thermal insulation in all atmospheric conditions. The sill made of HPVC and EPDM gaskets guarantee good thermal insulation of the door leaf and tightness to the penetration of water and air.
 

The key feature of the system is its close connection with MB-45, MB-59S and MB-70 window and door systems. Adopting such a design assumption allows for obtaining and applying a number of compatible components in such systems, for example: joint window plane strips, corners, sealing strips, glazing seals and meeting stiles, joint fittings, locks, hinges and many identical technological processes such as attaching with anchors, bonds and bars connectors, bonding corners, punching different selections, etc. One of the effects of this unification is the fact that the appearance of both exterior and interior of products: windows, doors, etc., made in different systems of external or internal construction remains almost identical.

The MB-60 system forms the basis of solutions with increased thermal insulation: MB-60HI, MB-60US HI, MB-60E HI, MB-60EF HI.

On the basis of this system you can also make burglar-proof structures.
