MB-SR50N EI

Technical description:

MB-SR50N EI fire resistant post and beam façade EI15 to EI60

The MB-SR50N EI post and beam wall system is designed for the construction of lightweight fire protection and fireproof panel walls in EI15, EI30, EI45, EI60 fire resistance classes according to PN-EN 1364-3 and EN 1364-1 fire resistance standards and glazed roof coverings with fire resistance class REI20 / RE30 according to PN-EN 1365-2 standard. The system is classified as non-spreading fire (NRO).

In the MB-SR50N EI construction profiles of the MB-SR50N basic facade system are used: posts with the depth of 85 ÷ 225 mm and beams with the depth of 69.5 ÷ 189.5 mm. The view of the fire resistant façade does not deviate from the base system. In order to obtain fire resistance, the posts and beams are equipped with special flame retardants. Such an insert consists of a reinforced aluminum profile that is shielded with fire protection plates. Glass or other fire resistant fillings are embedded in grooves formed by frames of  poles and beams profiles as well as pressure strips. In order to obtain optimal thermal and acoustic insulation we apply a continuous thermal spacer made of HPVC material as well as  profiled EPDM window pane gaskets. In addition, a flame-resistant tape is used on the side surfaces of the insulator. It swells and fills the space between the facade fillings under the influence of high temperature. The pressure plate is attached to the load-bearing profiles by means of a stainless steel screw and a washer. Such a glazing system ensures that the façade's technical parameters are met, and it protects the glass or other filling from falling out of the frame during any fire.

The structure of the fire-fighting pillar system allows angular joints up to ± 7,5 per side and the façade inclined from vertical to ± 15 °, based on it, roof glazing may have an inclination of 0 to 80 °. It is also possible to assemble the MB-78EI door system in the pillar-rail facades, while maintaining the fire integrity of the whole structure in the EI30 or EI60 classes.
